You may want to consider taking part in the certification programs that are offered through the Atlantic Region Certification Committee to achieve your Landscape Industry Certified designation in any one of the following specialties: Technician, Retail Horticulturist, Designer, and/or Manager.

Landscape Industry Certified Technician
The Landscape Industry Certified Technician program is designed for employees in the horticulture industry who are involved in the technical application of skill and knowledge. It is available in five classifications: Softscape Installation, Hardscape Installation, Turf Maintenance, Ornamental Maintenance and Interior Landscaping.
Check Out a very helpful video about the Landscape Industry Certified Technician program. Please keep in mind that it is also referred to as Certified Landscape Technician (CLT). Running time - 5 mins.

Landscape Industry Certified Designer
The Landscape Industry Certified Designer program is designed for true landscape designers, with a focus on residential design/build. This certification is earned through a two part process, first a written evaluation followed by a portfolio review by industry professionals. A combination of seven years of education and experience is highly recommended before registering for the Landscape Industry Certified Designer program.
