2008 Landscape Awards of Excellence Winners 
(February 25, 2009.) Landscape New Brunswick’s conference for the green industry, the All Commodity Education Sessions (ACES), recognized industry members during the Landscape New Brunswick Awards of Landscape Excellence Gala on Tuesday February 24th.
Landscape New Brunswick’s Awards of Landscape Excellence program recognizes excellence within the horticulture industry in New Brunswick and encourages landscape contractors to continue their efforts to raise the industry’s image by consistent use of quality materials and competent workmanship. |

Landscape New Brunswick handed out nine awards for the 2008 year:
- “Best Commercial Construction Project” was given to Price Landscaping Services (Lutes Mountain)
- “Best Residential Construction Project Over $20,000” was given to Urban Landscaping (Rothesay)
- Specialty Award for “Design” was given to Urban Landscaping (Rothesay)
- “Best Residential Lawn & Garden Maintenance” was given to Ayles Natural Landscaping (Riverview)
- Specialty Award for a “Theme Garden” was given to Price Landscaping Services (Lutes Mountain)
- Specialty Award for a “Water Feature” was given to Corn Hill Nursery (Corn Hill)

Winners of Landscape New Brunswick’s provincial awards program may be entered in the Canadian Nursery Landscape Associations (CNLA) National Awards of Landscape Excellence, competing with entries from all over Canada.
Landscape New Brunswick and the CNLA’s Awards of Excellence programs highlight the importance of sustainable landscapes to the well-being and beauty of Canada’s increasingly urban environment. The programs recognize the key role played by landscape design, installation and maintenance companies, parks boards and other horticulturists in executing the best management practices that protect our environment including: water cleanliness and conservation; pest management; air quality; waste reduction; and plant selection.
2007 Landscape Awards of Excellence Winners 
The professional workmanship of our members was highlighted at our annual Awards of Excellence Gala on Friday February 6th at the Hilton Saint John. This event was held in conjunction with the CNLA’s National Awards of Landscape Excellence, and over 130 people were in attendance including many members, the CNLA Board of Directors, and representatives from Communities in Bloom.Landscape New Brunswick had over 35 entries into their awards program for the 2007 year. Eight provincial Awards of Excellence were handed out over several categories, including:
Best Commercial Lawn & Garden Maintenance – Price Landscaping Services, Best Garden Maintenance: Residential or Commercial - Price Landscaping Services, Best Residential Lawn & Garden Maintenance – Ayles Natural Landscaping, Best Landscape Design – Price Landscaping Services, Best Landscape Feature – Price Landscaping Services, Best Commercial Construction Project – J.K. Fraser Landscaping & Construction, Best Residential Construction Project Under $20,000 – Urban Landscaping, Best Residential Construction Project Over $20,000 – Ayles Natural Landscaping.
‘Because Green Matters’ Award Presented to Kingsbrae Garden
Kingsbrae Garden was recognized by Project EverGreen Canada with the Because Green
Matters Award for their outstanding commitment to raising the profile and awareness of the benefits of green spaces in Canada. This was the second Because Green Matters award to be handed out in Canada.
Project EverGreen Canada’s goal is to raise awareness of the environmental, economic and lifestyle benefits of landscapes and to promote the significance of those who preserve and enhance green spaces at home, work and play. 2006 Landscape Awards of Excellence Winners
Price Landscaping Services of Moncton were the big winners for the second straight year at the Landscape New Brunswick Awards of Excellence. After winning five of six awards last year, Price beat out many of the top landscape companies in New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island to take six of the eight awards this year. Corn Hill Nursery of Corn Hill and Scholten's Landscaping of Saint John rounded out the winners. The awards featured work from across New Brunswick and P.E.I. wiht 35 entries vying for the eight awards.
